Expansion of the ESCS, IFSMS and F&G Network Supervision and Control Systems

SCADA/DCS supervisory system expansion

PORR S.A. hereby certifies that ZW Automation Sp. z o.o. participated, as our subcontractor, in the execution of the investment project entitled:
“Expansion of the Onshore Part of the LNG Regasification Terminal in Świnoujście” carried out for the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. in the years 2023–2025.

The scope of works included:

Comprehensive and complete expansion of the Electrical Supervisory and Control System (ESCS):

  • expansion of the existing telecommunication network infrastructure,
  • prefabrication of communication and control cabinets,
  • execution of FAT and SAT tests,
  • addition of new data concentrators in the form of PLC controllers,
  • modification of existing PLC controllers, server and operator stations within the PCS 7 system,
  • works with the PCS 7 Power Control library and communication with field controllers (IED) in the IEC 61850 standard,
  • data exchange integration using various communication protocols between devices and the existing Distributed Control System (DCS),
  • ensuring reliable communication between individual subsystems forming the electrical network,
  • ensuring system reliability on both software and hardware levels.

Comprehensive and complete expansion of the Integrated Fire Safety Management System (IFSMS) and the Fire and Gas Detection System (F&G):

  • prefabrication of communication and control cabinets,
  • execution of FAT and SAT tests,
  • system connection,
  • expansion of the fire and gas detection infrastructure,
  • addition of new PLC controllers,
  • migration of the existing F&G system to new server stations,
  • modification of existing PLC controllers, server and operator stations within the PCS 7 system,
  • commissioning of the Siemens SAFETY matrix,
  • integration with the existing Distributed Control System (DCS),
  • ensuring system reliability on both software and hardware levels.

All works were carried out in a professional manner, and the engineers of ZW Automation Sp. z o.o. demonstrated the required competencies and due diligence during the execution of their tasks.
