ZWA returns with a shield from the 10th WPP Shooting Championships

Our team finished in a respectable 10th place out of 37 teams in the overall standings , and our individual results were solid: 20th, 24th, and 37th in the men’s standings out of 81 competitors . This is a result we can be proud of – not on the podium, but definitely with a shield, as we have many strong teams and competitors from across the WPP behind us.

This year’s competition, held on September 19th at the WKS “Śląsk” shooting range in Wrocław, attracted 111 competitors and provided an opportunity not only to compete but also to connect with companies operating within the Wrocław Industrial Park. The organizers provided a grand opening ceremony, during which the names of all the teams were read out, a symbolic shot from the “Halina” cannon was fired, and the participants shouted together.

Although this sporting event had its own standings and winners, the most important elements were the shared excitement, fair play, and the opportunity to get to know each other in a slightly different setting . For our team, it was not only a competitive experience but also a great opportunity to bond and build team spirit, which later translates into daily collaboration in engineering projects.
