ZWA joins AHK Poland and applies for the Polish-German Economic Award

ZW Automation recently joined the ranks of member companies of the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Poland), which has been supporting companies operating within trade, technology, and investment ties for 30 years. AHK is the largest bilateral chamber in Poland, with over 1,000 members, and serves as a key platform for developing business contacts, exchanging knowledge, and joint industrial and legislative initiatives.

For us – as a company operating at the intersection of industrial automation, environmental technologies, and systems engineering – this allows us to participate even more directly in international dialogue and facilitates contact with partners and clients seeking reliable technology suppliers from Poland. Membership provides us with access to a closed network of companies, the opportunity to participate in industry events and expert consultations, and visibility in the Chamber’s directories and partner platforms.

As a new member of the AHK, we had the pleasure of attending the Chamber’s 30th General Assembly , which took place at the REGENT HOTEL in Warsaw and brought together a wide range of representatives from Polish and German companies. Participating in the Assembly allowed us to learn about the Chamber’s development directions, listen to inspiring presentations – including those by Professor Carlo Masala, an expert in security and geopolitics – and participate in the AHK Summer Evening, which provided an opportunity for valuable conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

With the same openness, we also decided to apply for the AHK German-Polish Economic Award. This prestigious distinction promotes companies that actively build cooperation between Poland and Germany by implementing joint projects of economic, technological, or environmental significance. In our case, the basis for our application was our several-year collaboration with Jürgen Klose Industrietechnik KG , with whom we have been jointly automating tank washing facilities in Germany since 2021 .

Our solutions, currently being implemented not only in Germany and Poland but also in France, the Netherlands, and other European countries, are ATEX-compliant and integrated with wastewater treatment plants and environmental monitoring systems. These are complex, interdisciplinary projects that combine engineering, automation, and environmental responsibility. Their success would not have been possible without the trust and close Polish-German cooperation—from design, through installation, to commissioning and ongoing service support.

We view the opportunity to enter the competition not only as a distinction, but also as a way to share our experience and an opportunity to further develop relationships within the AHK community. Although we are not a large company, we aspire to make our voice heard – based on concrete implementations – wherever quality, collaboration, and responsibility matter.

Joining AHK Poland marks a new chapter for us. We are convinced that this environment—based on partnership, trust, and real action—conducive to the development of companies like ours: flexible, expert, and focused on shared results.
