ZWA at the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris
Paris is synonymous with architecture and art, but for us, this year’s spring was defined by athletic determination. Representatives of ZW Automation and our affiliated company, Factory Parts, at the invitation of our supplier, Schneider Electric, took part in one of the most prestigious running events in the world. Here is a brief race report from the course.
The joint start of ZW Automation at the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris was a challenge that required months of preparation. The route led through the very heart of the “City of Light”, offering runners views of the Palais Garnier, Notre-Dame, and the Eiffel Tower. The atmosphere was electric and energising, carrying participants through the full 42.195 km all the way to the finish line beneath the Arc de Triomphe.
“A marathon is simply another project deliverable — just executed on the run. When your legs give out after the 30th kilometre, it’s character that takes the wheel” — reflects Jarosław Szafran, Chief Operating Officer.
The scale of the event was remarkable — according to official organiser data, this year’s edition saw over 55,000 participants, and our athletes ranked among those who demonstrated the greatest endurance.
Four members of our team lined up at the start, and we are proud to report that every single competitor who started also crossed the finish line. Here are the official times and finishing positions of our representatives:

The performance of the ZW Automation and Factory Parts team at the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is pure endurance engineering in sporting form. We demonstrated that with the right mindset, every objective is within reach — and the concept of an insurmountable distance simply does not exist in our vocabulary. We optimise it and conquer it, step by step. We extend our congratulations to our colleagues and thank them for representing our company with distinction on the international stage.
