Lower Silesian Griffin 2025 – ZW Automation as the Rising Star of Business!

The triumph of vision and responsibility

ZW Automation’s victory at the 22nd Great Business Gala of the Lower Silesian Griffin Competition, combined with the solemn 30th Anniversary of the Western Chamber of Commerce – Employers and Entrepreneurs, marks a symbolic moment in the company’s history. The award in the Rising Star of Business category was accepted by the CEO, Maciej Włodarczyk. COO, Jarosław Szafran was also present. This distinction was granted to the company for its contribution to the development of advanced process automation systems in the oil&gas industry. The Competition Chapter, composed of authorities from the world of business, science, and local government, recognized these technologies for their strategic importance and the uncompromising meticulousness necessary in the critical infrastructure sector.

Technology serving energy security

The awarded solutions are designed and implemented for gas terminals, oil terminals, and transmission stations. These are systems that must guarantee failure-free operation, because “there is no room for error where critical infrastructure is at stake.” ZW Automation provides technologies that are responsible for people and the environment, thereby directly supporting the energy security of Poland and the whole of Europe. This achievement was clearly indicated by the Management Board as proof that the company’s vision and strategy work, and its commitment to developing responsible technologies makes profound sense in the current geopolitical situation.

CEO Maciej Włodarczyk, accepting the statuette in the presence of almost 500 distinguished guests from the world of business, science, and local government, emphasized that this success is, above all, an award for the entire ZW Automation team. It is the work, commitment, and professionalism of the employees that stand behind this win. The Lower Silesian Griffin statuette is not just a laurel—it is also an “official certificate of credibility and quality” that builds trust among current and potential clients. ZW Automation proudly joins the laureates developing advanced technologies in Lower Silesia, such as Scanway, thus confirming that the Wrocław innovation ecosystem is growing, and the company is growing with it. This fact is also recognized by the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW), which sees the company’s potential alongside such outstanding entities.
