ZW Automation presents an intelligent transport line for pharmaceuticals at PharmaConnect 2025
During the From Code to Cure – PharmaConnect 2025 event in Kraków, organized by Siemens, ZW Automation showcased a solution developed for Adamed Pharma S.A. – the Intelligent Transport Line for Pharma, featuring comprehensive automation of the process from raw material to finished pallet.

On October 9th, the Polish edition of the prestigious PharmaConnect 2025 took place at Forty Kleparz in Kraków, bringing together representatives of the pharmaceutical and technology industries from across Europe.
For the first time held in Poland, the event became a platform for sharing experiences between pharmaceutical manufacturers, system integrators, and Siemens experts.
Among the speakers was Maciej Włodarczyk, CEO of ZW Automation, who delivered a presentation titled “Intelligent Transport Line for Pharma – From Raw Material to Finished Pallet: Modern and Safe Automation of the Entire Process”, showcasing a project completed for Adamed Pharma S.A.
Three production areas – one integrated ecosystem, designed by ZW Automation
The project exemplifies the full integration of three production zones into one coherent intralogistics ecosystem.
The solution includes:
🔹 Siemens S7-1500 control system
🔹 Sorter and scanners for material flow tracking
🔹 Two palletizing robots operating across six palletizing stations
🔹 System diagnostics via SIMATIC IPC MD-34A industrial tablet
The system enables real-time control of production, packaging, and palletizing of up to 12 product references simultaneously, ensuring complete traceability and process safety, even in GMP-grade overpressure areas typical for pharmaceutical environments. Thanks to the dual robotic palletizing setup, the line achieves high throughput, ergonomic operator interaction, and full compliance with stringent pharmaceutical standards.
