ZW Automation in PRO League Wrocław

The ZW Automation team took part in PRO League Wrocław for the first time – one of the most well-known amateur 6-a-side football leagues around. The Fall 2025 season brought us tons of emotions, sporting competition, and satisfaction from playing, and most importantly – it strengthened our team spirit off the pitch too.

In our first PRO League Wrocław season, we kicked off with a bang – in our opening match on Lotnicza Street, we beat our opponents 7:4, which gave us massive motivation for the games ahead. The league turned out to be not just a brilliantly organized sporting event, but also a space where we could combine competition, team bonding, and good fun. As team captain Michał Chlasta puts it:

PRO League Wrocław is a great format for company teams – top-notch organization, live streams of all matches, often with commentary, and at the same time an atmosphere full of healthy competition. It was pure pleasure playing together.”

The season ran from early September to the end of October. Conditions weren’t always ideal – the last matches were played in rain and cold, but our team’s determination never wavered. We’ll particularly remember the match against Trapeze, which we won 4:2, though unfortunately it ended with our player Andrzej Lelicki‘s injury – he tore his calf tendon. Thankfully, the surgery went well and Andrzej has started rehab – the whole team is keeping our fingers crossed for him and waiting for his return to the game! Andrzej played promisingly, with great commitment and effectiveness – despite his early injury, he became our team’s top scorer. We believe his presence for the rest of the season could have helped us place higher in the table, and maybe even fight for promotion to a higher league.

Despite the difficulties and a few matches full of extreme emotions – like the one against RK ESSA, where we were leading 3:0 only to eventually lose 4:6 – there was no shortage of sporting spirit and positive energy. We finished the league mid-table, which for a debuting team is a solid result and a good foundation for the future.

Taking part in the competition is more than just sport for us. It’s a way to build a stronger, tighter-knit team, develop cooperation, and get to know each other from a different, informal side. Playing in the league is also about integration and team spirit – competing together strengthens relationships and cooperation that we carry into our daily work too. It’s also about promoting a healthy lifestyle that motivates, improves fitness, and lets us blow off steam after an intense week, and thanks to the coverage, live streams, and stats, PRO League Wrocław (PRO Liga Wrocław) gives us a chance to show that ZW Automation is a company with energy, passion, and sporting spirit.

Thanks to all the players for their commitment and play in every match – we never had trouble fielding a full squad, and our employees regularly came to cheer and support the team from the stands. In individual stats, besides Andrzej, Łukasz Pozimski and Dawid Kempiński stood out, and in points scoring (Canadian system), Michał Chlasta and Dawid Kempiński topped the charts. Congrats to the whole team!

After our successful debut, we’re not slowing down – we’re already planning to start in the spring edition of PRO League 2026. Because regardless of the result, what matters most to us is that we play together.
