Process Automation Conference 2025 – ZWA and GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. on one stage

The Process Automation 2025 event organized online by Siemens was dedicated to the latest trends and challenges related to the digitalization of industrial processes, and ZW Automation had the pleasure of participating as one of the technology partners.

The conference discussed key issues of industrial transformation,  such as digitization, cybersecurity, data protection, system integration, and the use of artificial intelligence in production environments. The meeting was expert-driven, with lectures focusing on practical aspects of implementation and effective ways to address technological challenges in real-world conditions.

Our Process Automation Department Manager, Krzysztof Walczak, along with a representative of the end customer, GAZ-SYSTEM SA, presented a solution based on a completed project in Świnoujście during a lecture titled  ” Modern Fire & Gas (F&G) Control Systems in Regasification Plants Using SIMATIC PCS 7. “ The presentation demonstrated how advanced Siemens technologies, such as the certified PCS 7 cause-effect (C&E) matrix management tool with ET 200SP HA, adapted to the facility’s requirements, support the effective management of critical energy infrastructure and ensure a high level of operational security. We wholeheartedly recommend the PCS 7 system with ET 200SP HA as a modern and proven process automation solution that—regardless of the industry—ensures high availability and reliability through I/O module redundancy and advanced diagnostics, while also enabling flexible testing and development in a virtual environment. Thanks to compliance with current standards, new input/output modules and functions such as signal simulation and recording of operator actions, the system supports effective management, quick fault identification and work transparency.

A key point of the program was the panel discussion  “Security in the Digital Age,” which brought together experts representing diverse implementation perspectives. ZW Automation also participated in this discussion, sharing its experience from implementing projects where a coherent approach to system integration, security, and data quality plays a key role. The exchange of opinions confirmed that effective digitalization requires not only appropriate technologies but, above all, human competence and a partnership approach at every stage of the project. It is through dialogue that solutions can be created that address the real needs of industry—including those requiring openness and trust in artificial intelligence—supporting its development towards safe, flexible, and sustainable production.

We would like to thank Siemens for the invitation and the professional organization of the conference.  Participating in the event was an important moment for us – not only an opportunity to showcase our experiences, but also confirmation that, as a team, we are actively participating in shaping the automation standards of the future.
