ZW Automation among the finalists of the Polish-German Economic Award 2025
The recognition of ZW Automation in reaching the finals in the anniversary edition of the prestigious AHK Poland competition is proof that our automation and robotics projects, developed in cooperation with our German partner Jürgen Klose Industrietechnik, are a genuine example of an effective Polish-German technological partnership.
Having only recently joined AHK Poland, we were proud to find ourselves in the final of the Polish-German Economic Award 2025, held during the Chamber’s 30th anniversary year. For ZW Automation, this is not only an honor but also confirmation that our strategic direction and pace of development are right on track.
The competition evaluated innovation, sustainability, and cross-border cooperation. ZW Automation was recognized for projects realized together with Jürgen Klose Industrietechnik, involving automation and control systems for tank interior cleaning stations – facilities where significant amounts of water, energy, and chemicals are used daily. Our solutions make it possible to optimize and monitor consumption, significantly improving both energy efficiency and environmental performance of industrial operations.
At the gala in Warsaw’s Centrum Praskie Koneser, the company was represented by Damian Lisowski, Head of the Automation Department, together with Frank Schulz from Jürgen Klose Industrietechnik. They showcased how ZW Automation is responsible for control cabinet technology, process visualization, electrical installation, and documentation, while Klose handles technical design and process engineering. Together, we create complete control systems for process industries, compliant with ATEX explosion protection requirements and based on Siemens SCADA and TIA Portal technology. Both companies work hand in hand to integrate, commission, and service the final installations.

Our systems are already operating in Stuttgart, Mannheim, and Ludwigshafen, giving clients such as HOYER Group, Dinges Logistics, and Cotac Europe full control over washing processes, emissions, and resource consumption. Together with Klose, we have also developed wastewater treatment, heat recovery, and volatile substance extraction systems that effectively reduce the environmental footprint of industrial plants.
In the online public vote, ZW Automation took 3rd place, and in the final jury results ranked among the TOP 5 out of more than 30 companies.
After the results were announced, our team received personal congratulations from Martin Kremer, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Wrocław, and Justyna Młynarz, Head of the AHK Poland Regional Office in Wrocław – a gesture of recognition we deeply appreciate.
Reaching the final and earning the jury’s acknowledgment for how we presented our partnership with a German company confirmed that it pays to build cooperation based on trust, expertise, and shared goals. It also motivates us to continue explaining what we do – in a simple, accessible way, even to those outside the engineering field.
