ZWA at the 11th Wrocław Industrial Park Shooting Championship
The 11th Wrocław Industrial Park Shooting Championship is behind us, and the ZW Automation teams delivered an outstanding performance! Entering two teams into the competition, we secured strong 5th and 12th positions overall. Alongside our excellent team results, we are proud of the individual success of our debutant, Jakub Tołłoczko, who placed in the top five of the entire tournament.
Strong performance by ZW Automation at the competition
Last Friday, September 25, representative teams from companies operating within the park gathered for the annual competition at the modern WKS Śląsk sports shooting facility in Wrocław. A total of 26 teams representing 9 companies took part in the event. Competitors faced off in two disciplines: 50 m small-bore rifle and 10 m air pistol. A live guitarist performed custom musical stingers throughout the day, providing an energetic backdrop and a dynamic atmosphere.
“Events like this are not only about sporting rivalry, but above all a fantastic opportunity to integrate with our neighbours from the industrial park. The atmosphere was incredible, and our teams’ results give us great satisfaction.” – comments Jarosław Szafran, Operations Director at ZW Automation.
Excellent team results and individual success
ZW Automation fielded two 3-member teams: “Strze-la ZWA” and “ZWA i szafa gra”. Both squads demonstrated high consistency and a strong competitive edge. Team “Strze-la ZWA” claimed 5th place out of 27 teams, scoring 435 out of 600 points, while team “ZWA i szafa gra” finished in a very solid 12th position.
A special mention goes to our tournament debutant, Jakub Tołłoczko. In the men’s individual classification, he secured an impressive 5th place out of 55 participants. In the 50 m small-bore rifle discipline, he dropped only 8 points out of a possible 100, recording four bullseye hits, and added two more 10s in the air pistol discipline (hitting the bullseye 6 times in total!).
We extend our thanks to the organisers for a smoothly run event and congratulate all participants. We have proven that ZW Automation hits the target not only in engineering projects, but on the shooting range as well!
