Support for local initiatives by ZW Automation at the Saganek 2026 festival
ZW Automation has once again engaged in cultural and social support by partnering for the milestone 31st edition of the “Saganek 2026” Tourist and Sea Shanty Song Festival in Żagań. Thanks to our partnership with the “Piechur” Tourist Association, we helped organize a unique event bringing together music enthusiasts from across Poland.
Milestone Tourist and Sea Shanty Song Festival in Żagań
On June 19–20, 2026, the Prince’s Park in Żagań hosted a unique celebration of music. This year’s event carried special significance as it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the “Piechur” Tourist Association. ZW Automation was delighted to be among the partners of the festival, supporting the organizers in fulfilling their statutory goals. Over the two-day event, 14 performers from various corners of Poland took to the stage—including regions such as Masuria, Pomerania, Lublin, and Lower Silesia—with Jerzy Filar from the legendary band Nasza Basia Kochana performing as the headline artist.
“The atmosphere was extraordinary, and singing together truly brought generations together. We are thrilled that the tradition of tourist songs remains vibrant and finds such deep dedication and invaluable support from our partners,” summed up one of the event participants and representative of the “Piechur” Tourist Association, Mrs. Krystyna Karolewska.

Engaging in regional projects naturally aligns with our core company values. This event held a particularly personal meaning for our leadership—the President of ZW Automation, Maciej Włodarczyk, originates from Żagań, which drew a warm reception from the local community and attending audience. Despite unpredictable weather and hot temperatures, the festival gathered numerous enthusiasts of poetic song, creating an unforgettable and energizing atmosphere. We extend our gratitude to the “Piechur” Tourist Association for their excellent organization and incredible energy.
