Polish-German Economic Cooperation – ZWA’s First Year at AHK Poland
ZW Automation’s participation in this year’s Summer Festival at the German General Consulate in Wrocław provided the perfect setting to mark the company’s first year of active membership in the AHK Poland structures. The event commemorated key anniversaries of cross-border partnership and once again allowed us to demonstrate that advanced technologies are redefining process optimization across Europe.
How Polish-German economic cooperation stimulates technological innovation in Lower Silesia
Celebrating this year’s Sommerfest (Summer Garden Party) in the gardens of the Consulate General of Germany in Wrocław at 76 Podwale Street was of particular significance. The event, hosted by Consul General Martin Kremer, was primarily an occasion to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Good Neighbourship Treaty and a decade of partnership between Lower Silesia and Brandenburg, but it also served as a forum for discussing the future of joint technological ventures. For Maciej Włodarczyk, CEO of ZW Automation, this meeting marked the wrap-up of the company’s first year within the structures of the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Polska), which brings together leaders of the modern market.
AHK Polska events, or how cooperation builds the industry of the future
The past year of our presence in AHK Polska was packed with technological initiatives, expert meetings, and international successes that consolidated our position as an engineering innovator. In 2025, as a new member of AHK, we had the honor of participating in the Chamber’s 30th General Assembly in Warsaw. The meeting was an excellent opportunity for us to learn about the Chamber’s development plans and listen to highly engaging presentations. The day culminated in the AHK Summer Evening, which created a perfect space for valuable networking conversations about upcoming projects and events in which – as it turned out later – we had the opportunity to participate. How Polish-German economic cooperation connects engineers during Digital Development Vectors and a visit to Cyfronet
A perfect proof of how modern IT tools are revolutionizing the production sphere was our presentation and joint exhibition stand with Mitsubishi Electric during the “Digital Development Vectors” conference, organized by the Wrocław regional office of AHK Polska. We presented the capabilities of the advanced GENESIS64 v11 visualization and process control system, based on the modern .NET architecture. We demonstrated that 3D operator screens, detailed data analysis, and the integration of distributed systems form a solid foundation for the deployment of artificial intelligence and predictive maintenance.
“The joint stand gave us a space to talk not only about technology but also about building partnerships. It is precisely in such places that future projects are born.” – summarized Jarosław Szafran, COO of ZW Automation. Read more >>
Our commitment to pushing technological boundaries also took us to the ACK Cyfronet AGH in Kraków. The study visit arranged by AHK Polska, focused on “Supercomputers in Industry“, allowed us to envision the potential of large-scale computing power in machine automation processes. The analysis of industrial simulations using supercomputers is a direction worth developing to provide customers with solutions of uncompromising reliability and efficiency. Read more >>
The final of a prestigious competition as a proof of recognition for Polish-German economic cooperation
A special highlight of the past year was ZW Automation reaching the grand final of the Polish-German Economic Award AHK 2025. Out of more than 30 nominated enterprises, our innovative implementations carried out jointly with our German partner Jürgen Klose Industrietechnik GmbH were selected for the prestigious TOP 5 group, while also winning 3rd place in the online public vote. The project of advanced control systems for tank interior cleaning systems, operating at such logistics giants as HOYER Group or Cotac Europe in Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, and Stuttgart, proved that engineering can go hand in hand with responsibility.
“Water, energy, waste – these are no longer just costs, but a responsibility. And it is precisely in this area that we – as engineers – can make a real difference.” – emphasizes Damian Lisowski, Head of Automation Department at ZW Automation. Read more >>
The crowning achievement of this series of joint initiatives was the official receipt of the AHK Polska membership certificate. For us, this document is not just a formality, but above all a commitment to further actively shape modern technological standards and build a strong, resilient European market. Read more >>
The culmination of our first year in AHK Polska during the gala Sommerfest in the gardens of the German Consulate General in Wrocław showed that the innovative goals set by the company enjoy high recognition from both business partners and diplomacy representatives.
