International Oktoberfest 2026 at Topacz Castle – Polish business on the European stage

Representatives of ZW Automation – President Maciej Włodarczyk, Technical Director Sebastian Rakoczy, and Operations Director Jarosław Szafran – attended the 22nd edition of International Oktoberfest at Topacz Castle. This recurring event consistently fosters open knowledge sharing and international industry integration. The meeting provided an good opportunity to examine where Polish business currently stands and how our development – both in modern technologies and management standards – compares on the European stage.

This year’s 22nd edition of International Oktoberfest brought a new format and a unique location – for the first time, the event was hosted at Topacz Castle in Ślęza. The main organizer was the German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Poland), in cooperation with the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) and the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce (NPCC). The gathering brought together numerous representatives from business, executive management, the diplomatic corps, and local authorities, serving as the largest international business networking event in Lower Silesia.

The meeting naturally combined a traditional festival atmosphere with accents of innovation. Alongside the traditional keg tapping and Bavarian music, a welcoming robot added a symbolic touch of modern technology. For ZW Automation, it offered a platform to discuss the position of Polish engineering and industrial automation within global supply chains, as well as flexibility in adapting technical solutions to diverse operational models.

“International integration allows us to evaluate the pace at which the domestic technology sector is evolving from a broader perspective. By observing the operating standards and expectations of international partners, it is clear that Polish companies in automation and engineering not only match European leaders, but in many areas are setting the direction for dynamic growth,” emphasizes Jarosław Szafran, COO of ZW Automation.

We would like to thank the organizers from AHK Poland, BPCC, and NPCC for creating such a valuable space for building long-term business relationships. See you at the next edition!
